OnyxPlayEsto IPTV platform

Add TV to the bundle. We run the headend.

OnyxPlay is Esto’s wholesale IPTV platform for ISPs — licensed feeds, broadcast-grade DRM, the OnyxPlay app on every major smart TV, and operator tooling, carried by us and deployed on-premise inside your network. You bring the subscribers, the tiers, and the last mile; we carry everything upstream of the TV, under the OnyxPlay brand.

05Operate

Operator tooling — and the paperwork carried upstream.

A per-tenant operator portal runs subscribers, entitlements, and plan changes; native connectors wire to the billing, CRM, and accounting systems you already pay for. Carriage compliance and quarterly MIB returns are filed on your behalf — you inherit cleared status with nothing to file at your end.

§ 04Use cases

Who buys this, and why.

LCO

Make TV the reason they don’t churn.

An LCO bundles a TV tier on top of broadband — no satellite encoders, no DRM key servers, no carriage paperwork. Subscribers get the clean OnyxPlay app; the operator gets a second line of revenue and a stickier base.

TV + broadband bundle · per-sub
Regional ISP

Add a TV tier in six weeks.

A regional ISP adds the OnyxPlay app to its bundle, wires up its billing and retail tiers in the operator portal, and goes from MoU to first paying subscriber in about six weeks — OnyxPlay on every screen, the ISP’s subscribers and pricing underneath.

Multilingual market

Serve thirteen languages from one lineup.

An operator across a mixed-language cluster cherry-picks from 540+ channels in 13 languages, packaging regional tiers per town. A channel that isn’t in the catalogue yet is requested and live in under two weeks.

§ 05FAQ

Questions operators ask.

01What's included, and who operates it?+
540+ licensed channels, conversion into modern streaming formats with broadcast-grade DRM, the OnyxPlay smart-TV app for Android TV, Samsung, LG, and Fire TV, the operator portal for subscriber and entitlement management, a 24×7 NOC for the headend, and quarterly MIB compliance filings. You bring the network, the subscribers, and your billing relationship. The headend runs in our Mumbai facility; you never touch the application.
02Where does the platform run?+
Acquisition and processing run in our Mumbai headend, operated 24×7 by an Indian NOC. Delivery runs from a 1U appliance with ~24 TB of cache that racks inside your network, on your floor space and power. You handle physical hosting and IP routing; we operate the software stack remotely.
03What's the commercial model?+
Per active subscriber, per month, billed against your count. No headend CAPEX, no per-channel licensing surprises, no DRM consultancy bills, and no setup fee. Tiers by subscriber volume; exact commercials are confirmed under NDA via an RFQ.
04Can I put my own brand on the apps?+
The consumer apps are OnyxPlay-branded — that's the product we sell, and carrying one certified app across every smart-TV platform is what keeps DRM and store updates current without you chasing reviews. Co-branding — your name alongside OnyxPlay — is considered case by case for qualifying partners; raise it with sales and we'll scope it. The operator portal is always yours: your subscribers, your tiers, your pricing.
05How does compliance work for the channels I carry?+
OnyxPlay carries the carriage obligation upstream — we maintain the broadcaster MoUs, the per-channel reporting, and the periodic MIB Schedule 10 returns. You inherit cleared status by virtue of carrying via us; there's nothing to file at your end.
06How fast can I launch, and add a channel later?+
About six weeks from signed MoU to first paying subscriber — two for legal and SSO, two for the edge rack and peering, two for billing/CRM integration and go-live. Adding a channel already in the catalogue takes under 7 days; a new regional channel we don't yet carry is ~14–30 days.
