Connectivity

IP transit, leased lines, and a fence around DDoS.

Wholesale IP transit and leased lines on a pan-India backbone we own end-to-end — with RTBH-based DDoS mitigation any downstream network can trigger from its own router. Committed rates only. No burstable, no surprises on the invoice.

§ 01What’s included

Five things in one handoff.

01IP transit

Committed-rate IP transit. Full tables on request.

Wholesale transit on a committed-information-rate basis — you size to your real peak, we hold the headroom. No 95th-percentile burst billing, so the number you sign is the number you pay.

  • Commit modelCIR only · no burstable
  • RoutingBGP — full · partial · default
  • Handoffs1G · 10G · 100G ports
02Leased lines

Point-to-point circuits between any two POPs.

Layer-2 P2P leased lines between any pair of our POPs — or out to your premises over CPE. Protected or unprotected, with LACP bundling where you need more than a single port of capacity.

  • TopologyP2P · POP-to-POP · POP-to-CPE
  • ProtectionUnprotected or 1+1
  • BundlingLACP on request
03MPLS / SD-WAN

Multi-site enterprise overlays on our backbone.

L2VPN and L3VPN over the Esto MPLS core for multi-site enterprises, with SD-WAN where the branch mix calls for it. One provider edge, every site on the same private fabric.

  • Class of serviceMarked & honoured edge-to-edge
04RTBH

DDoS mitigation without a scrubbing contract.

Announce a community-tagged prefix to us and we black-hole the attack traffic at our edge — across the whole backbone, in seconds. Remote-Triggered Black Hole that your NOC drives from its own router, no ticket required.

  • TriggerBGP community on your session
  • Granularity/32 (v4) · /128 (v6)
  • ScopeDropped at every Esto edge
05Dual-stack

IPv4 and IPv6, native, from day one.

Every handoff is dual-stack. Bring your own PI space and ASN and we’ll run BGP both families, or take addressing from us — your call. v6 is not a roadmap item here; it’s the default.

  • FamiliesIPv4 + IPv6 native
  • AddressingBring-your-own or assigned
  • SessionsSingle or multi-session BGP

§ 03Use cases

Who buys this, and why.

Regional ISP

Drop the upstream bill, keep the headroom.

A Tier-3 ISP swaps a pricey single upstream for committed 10G at the Delhi POP, dual-uplinked to Mumbai for diversity. Same spend, twice the resilience — and a backbone that peers where its traffic actually goes.

10G CIR · 1+1 · Delhi + Mumbai
LCO under attack

Black-hole the flood from your own router.

An LCO taking a volumetric DDoS tags the target /32 with our RTBH community. Attack traffic is dropped at the Esto edge within seconds — no scrubbing retainer, no support ticket, no waiting on a vendor portal.

Multi-site enterprise

Every branch on one private fabric.

A company with offices across four cities runs L3VPN over the Esto core instead of stitching tunnels over the public internet — private addressing end-to-end, class-of-service honoured, one provider to call.

§ 04FAQ

Questions operators ask.

01Do you sell burstable / 95th-percentile transit?+
No. Esto transit is committed-rate (CIR) only. You commit to a rate, you pay that rate — there's no 95th-percentile surprise at month-end. If your peak grows, we re-size; the billing model stays predictable.
02How does RTBH work for my network?+
On turn-up we issue you a BGP community. When you're under attack, your router announces the target prefix — /32 for IPv4 or /128 for IPv6 — tagged with that community on your session with us. We propagate the black-hole across every Esto edge and the attack traffic is discarded before it reaches your port. No ticket, no portal, no scrubbing contract.
03Can I bring my own IP space and ASN?+
Yes. Bring your PI space and ASN and we'll run BGP for both address families, with MD5 authentication and a max-prefix limit on every session. If you'd rather take addressing from us, that's available too.
04Which POPs can I take a handoff at?+
All four: Noida (Sify Greenfort), Delhi (GK1), Mumbai (Web Werks), and Patna (CtrlS). Cross-connects are arranged at the facility; leased lines extend the handoff out to your premises where there's no presence in-building.
05Do you offer dark fibre?+
No — dark fibre isn't part of the Esto product set. We sell lit services: IP transit, leased lines, and MPLS / SD-WAN over our own backbone.
06What's the SLA, and who do I call?+
99.95% availability with a 4-hour MTTR target. Our NOC runs 24×7 on Indian time and escalates on agreed thresholds — engineers, not a chatbot. The NOC line is staffed around the clock.
